The underdeveloped nature of the Central Business District (CBD) does not accurately reflect the true character of Cincinnati. Many visitors and workers, unfamiliar with the area, are unaware of the various opportunities downtown and how to navigate between them. These challenges hinder the overall experience and prevent the CBD from becoming a cohesive and vibrant part of the city.

This skate park is located near corporate buildings for Cincinnati business visitors. Duke Energy Convention Center, Hyatt Hotel, Millennium Hotel, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car are amongst the businesses that surround this park. Currently the park is unused and is in a location that doesn’t fit the audience of the businesses near by.  We want to expand it to create ideas for more business opportunity and a space to create a relief from urban intensity.
