A collaborative project hosted by Gensler NY. I worked with Design for America, Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, Colombia University Students, and Gensler interns. 

Far Rockaway Beach is one of the beautiful beaches that was affected by hurricane sandy and Gensler interns were asked to design the environment to trigger urbanization. The location has sparked more media attention.  Firms and organizations like Pentagram, Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, NYCParks.gov, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and more are play a hand in re emerge this environment to help the population live a positive life.
